Why can't I restore a machine from a Drive Image backup?

In order to successfully complete a restore of a machine it’s required that:

the folder WindowsImageBackup, ontaining the backup, must be located inside the root of the storage device from which the backup is being restored (es. E:WindowsImageBackup);
in case you chose to store more copies of the Drive Image backup, the backup folder you want to restore must be renamed removing the number identifying the copy (eg. E:WindowsImageBackupcomputer02 → E:WindowsImageBackupcomputer).
