Benefits

Backup with snapshot

Due to VSS support, Uranium Backup can copy locked or in use files, creating snapshots during the backup. No problems copying mailboxes, Excel documents, VM, and databases on Windows hosts and others. Note: VSS works on local paths only.

Protection against ransomware

Drive image with granular restore

Utilizing the Windows Backup engine, Uranium Backup creates file images in .VHDX format, allowing granular recovery of files and folders. A double-click is sufficient to assemble a virtual disk and perform recovery.

Full recovery / bare-metal restore

Drive Image backups allow you to completely restore of your PC. This is also called bare-metal restore. You can recover the system, even with different hardware (hardware agnostic restore), with the installation support by Windows or by creating a recovery disk directly from Uranium Backup.

Backup on cloud

Take advantage of the flexibility and scalability of Cloud Backup: carry out the off-site backup of your data on most popular cloud storage services, including Amazon S3, Microsoft OneDrive, and Google Drive.
